A Classic MST3K Episode!

Anthropology professor and three of his students go into the wilds of Central Arkansas in search of the best Southern Bigfoot, the Boggy Creek Creature (Sorry, Florida Skunk Ape) and come face to face with a creature even more terrifying creature, Old Man Crenshaw. Along the way we have mud wrestling, outhouse humor, 80s shorts and a lot of green CRT monitor action.

A great MST3K episode needs a movie with a lot of activity. Doesn't have to be good, or coherent, or entirely visible, actually the less of all three works to its advantage, and Boggy Creek has plenty and comes at you fast and furious like an angry Bigfoot charging through your living room. The jokes are all hilarious which having an almost parody movie to start with helped. If you love humor and if you love Bigfoot then you'll love the Legend of Boggy Creek 2: The Legend Continues.

The kid who never wears anything above the waist gets creepy quickly.

The movie makes no sense and neither does the kid without a shirt and the two girls who accompany the doctor in his search for the the big hairy one. you also have to wonder where they stored all their gear in that tiny little trailer. The riffs are excellent and, as usual, the movie is pretty pointless and seems to have been made just to be riffed.

It's almost worth subscribing to Netflix for (I think they have a regular series on Netflix now) ! But I found this episode on Amazon's film offerings -- we laughed so much -- the quips are relentlessly funny and spot on! Much needed relief from the troubles in today's headlines.
